We have many talented students who love to sing.
Burwood GHS has two choirs. One is the school choir organised by Mr Neville from the Creative Arts faculty and the other is the Musettes which is organised through the band program.
The school choir is a co-curricular activity open to all Year 7 and Year 8 students who love to sing, whether beginner or advanced. Year 8 students are often called upon to mentor the Year 7 students, as well as singing in the choir.
There are many performance opportunities, including:
- school events such as Variety Night
- Schools Spectacular
- Pulse concert
- Madiba project

Rehearsals
Thursday lunchtime in Music Room 24 (air conditioned from 2020). Rehearsals commence 6 February 2020.
Senior Singers
The Senior Singers group is also organised by Mr Neville. Rehearsals are on Fridays, 7:30 am-8:45 am in Music Room 24.
