IDPwD is a United Nations observed day aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptable of people with disability.
To celebrate the day, we'd like to share a video put together by Ana Welsh about our Inclusive Dance Ensemble. The Inclusive Dance ensemble has been such a valuable addition to our school activities this year - so a huge thank you Ana and the choreographers (our two ex-students, Alicia Griffiths and Lucinda Nube) for this initiative.
We entered this video into the IDPwD Grow Inclusion Schools Competition and we can very happily announce that we have won!
The competition prize is $4,000 worth of accessible learning resources, equipment or software of our choice to assist our dance program.
A big well done to all those involved.
